How can I turn off the Hover View?
The Hover View allows you to view a larger preview of a photo without clicking on the photo. If you would prefer to turn the Hover View off click on the On button on the left hand menu next to Hover View.
What is a Lightbox?
The Lightbox is a great feature that allows you to save, organize, and email the photos you see on Comet Country. To use the Lightbox feature you must have setup a free account with us and be logged into that account.
Once you have setup your account and logged in as a member you will see an Add to Lightbox button under every photo. Just click this button to add a photo to your Lightbox. Photos saved in your Lightbox will be available in your Lightbox until you delete them from your Lightbox or we remove the photos from our site.
To access photos in your Lightbox on a future visit you must log back into your account and then click on the My Lightbox link on the left hand main menu. You will NOT see the My Lightbox link until you have logged in.
To organize photos you will be putting into your Lightbox you can create multiple Lightboxes by clicking on the My Lightbox link on the left hand main menu.
To email photos in one of your Lightboxes click on the My Lightbox link on the left hand main menu. Select the Lightbox you would like to email from the drop down list. Add the email addresse(s) of the people you would like to receive the photos in your Lightbox. Type a short message to the person/people receiving the email such as “I found this really nice photo of Andy I thought you would want to see” or “Check out what your awesome grandson did this weekend” and Click Go.
What format are the photos in?
All Comet Country photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted. Photos from each event should be posted 3-5 days after the event.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by Comet Country and it's partners. In the future we may consider this.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Comet Country photos that I purchase?
Yes. While Comet Country offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. We will consider the use of our photos from non-profit groups on a per request basis.
Is there a way to find my player's photos without searching all the photos under his/her event section?
Due to the large volume of photographs that we take we are unable to sort them by player nor by players number. At this time searching through the photographs of your players event is the best way to find his/her photographs.
